About The Culture Systems Journal and CRW Diversity

Last updated: November 2026

This site is published by CRW Diversity, the consulting practice of Celeste Warren, to explain how policies, practices, leadership decisions and workplace systems shape organizational culture.

The Culture Systems Journal is one of a small number of websites CRW Diversity publishes. It exists to give senior executives, and the HR and people leaders who work with them, a clear and practical view of culture as something leaders shape through systems, along with straightforward information about CRW Diversity's executive advisory, workshops and briefings. It is not an independent publication. The main business website is crwdiversity.com.

Who is behind this site?

Celeste Warren, Founder of Celeste Warren Consulting, LLC, which operates as CRW Diversity. She spent nearly three decades inside a Fortune 100 company, including a decade as Vice President and Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer, working with executives, managers and teams around the world on complex issues involving people, leadership, culture and organizational change.

Today she brings that experience to organizations that want practical solutions, not buzzwords or performative approaches. A TEDx speaker, author, executive advisor and former C-suite leader, she helps organizations examine the everyday leadership decisions and organizational systems that ultimately determine whether people and businesses can thrive.

Experience matters. So does perspective.

Why this site focuses on systems

Organizations often focus on what individuals need to do differently. Those things matter. But Celeste's experience taught her to ask a different question: what within the organization is helping people succeed, and what may be getting in their way? This site is organized around that question. Start with our guide to organizational culture consulting, or read how we form recommendations on our approach page.
